Your photo is an important part of your profile. It gives the students a first impression of you. Tutors with excellent profile photos are easier to offer their services. Read these examples, requirements and instructions. They will help you choose the right photo for your profile.

• Image format: JPG, GIF, or PNG; The maximum file size is 5MB (larger size may result in a long download)
• Image size over 3000 x 3000 pixels
• The image should clearly show your face.
• Do not use images on which other people are located.
• Do not use the photo in dark glasses. Your face and eyes should be clearly visible.
• Do not use a photo that shows your face too small or too large.
• Do not use too bright or too dim images.
• Do not use blurry fuzzy photos.
• Do not use photos with attention-grabbing background.
• Try not to use official photographs (from a passport or other document).
• Do not use images on which there are extraneous inscriptions or logos.
• Do not post contact information on the photo.
• Do not use photo effects that may affect the recognition of your face.

Requirements for all videos:

• You should: Be present on the video. Students want to see their tutor and hear his voice, diction, pronunciation. It is important that the students can follow their choice.
• You should: Speak in the languages ​​you can teach. Language proficiency is one of the most important criteria for choosing a tutor.
• You should not: Provide contact information - your video will be available to everyone on the Internet, so please keep your privacy confidential.
• You should not: Advertise other services or other tutors.
• You should not: Remove vertical or square video.

After you've made a video, upload it to YouTube video hosting and include a link to this video in your profile.

To attach a video presentation to your profile:

1. Click on the image with the profile photo in the top menu
2. Select "Edit profile"
3. Select "Go to tutor settings"
4. In the section "Profile data of the tutor" -> "Video presentation", enter the full link to the YouTube video
5. Save the changes.

You need to have with you all the documents that you specify in your profile, however, biscarra does not require you to show them to the moderators. You may need these documents if any of the students ask them to provide them.

The reason for the refusal is necessarily indicated in the processing of the questionnaire by the moderator. With the reason and comment of the moderator (if necessary) you can read in the dashboard.

Tags are special words that a tutor can indicate in his profile in order to concretize his abilities and experience. Tags are one of the criteria for searching. For example, you can specify the word "exam" or "children" to make it clear to users that you can prepare for eczamas or are willing to work with children. You can specify up to 10 tags in your profile.

Once your profile is approved by the moderator and you complete at least one course - your profile will be available in the search for tutors. The results are sorted according to the time of the last visit to the biscarra site, so the longer you stay in touch, the more often you will be in the first lines of the search.

A brief presentation is displayed in the search tools, in a short tutor card.
A detailed presentation is displayed in the full profile of the tutor.

To make changes to the information specified in the profile:

1. Click on the image with a photo of your profile in the top menu
2. Select "Edit profile"
3. Select "Go to tutor settings"
4. Modify and save changes

Please note that the changes you make will appear in your profile immediately. However, if the moderator sees in them a violation of the rules of using the site, the operation of your account may be suspended until these violations are eliminated.

To exclude your profile from search:

1. Click on the image with a photo of your profile in the top menu
2. Select "Account Settings"
3. In the "Privacy" section, select "Show my tutor profile in the search" -> "To nobody"
4. Save changes

To add or edit courses:

1. Click on the image with a photo of your profile in the top menu
2. Select "Edit profile"
3. Select "Go to tutor settings"
4. In the "Courses" section, enter the required data
5. Save changes

A trial lesson is a free test meeting, which, as a rule, lasts about 30 minutes. Such a meeting is necessary for the pupils to decide on the choice of the tutor, and for the tutors to understand whether the pupil is suitable for them. If you are interested in recruiting new students, we recommend that you enable this option. Often, for students the possibility of such a meeting is the determining factor when choosing a tutor.

You can not permanently delete your profile. However, deactivating an account is almost the same as deleting it. Deactivated account does not appear in the search, it is not visible by the profile link, it is not possible to send a private message to this user, etc. However, at your desire, in an indefinite amount of time, the profile can be reactivated and continue to use all functions in full.

You can temporarily select the discipline Other -> Other, and then send a request to our moderators about adding a new discipline to the list. You can do it using a contact form. After confirmation of the request by the moderator, you will be able to choose a new discipline in the tutor's settings.

Students pay for classes personally to you. The site does not charge a commission.
