biscarra manually checks all questionnaires of tutors, however, we can not physically check all the information for reliability. You can schedule a free trial lesson with a tutor and ask him to show you the certificates and diplomas if this is critical to you.

Everyone has different goals and preferable ways of learning. Some people prefer more structured, formal lessons, while others prefer to learn in the practice of informal communication. Regardless of the situation, here is our advice for finding the best teacher for you.

How does biscarra selects tutors?

Each tutor is accepted only after full and accurate filling of the profile. All information is checked manually by biscarra employees.
Information in the profile of the tutor must be complete, accurate and understandable. You decide which of the tutors suits you best.

Finding a tutor

If you are looking for a new tutor, you can use the search parameters to find a tutor on the following parameters:

• Discipline
• The language of communication
• Country and city of residence
• Type of lessons (remotely / internally)
• Hourly rate
• Tags

You can also indicate the availability of a video presentation and the availability of a free trial lesson.

Save time

• Watch video presentations of tutors. You can learn a lot of additional information on them.
• Ask the tutor additional questions. You can contact the tutor directly on the site and clarify any questions you are interested in.

Try to take lessons from several tutors

You can schedule trial lessons with several tutors, and on their results make your choice.

To add a user to your favorites:

1. Go to the user profile
2. Click on the icon with a heart

To remove a user from favorites:

1. Go to the user profile
2. Click on the icon with a heart

or

1. Go to the favorites list at the top of the site
2. Expand the drop-down list by clicking on the button next to the "Write message" button
3. Select "Remove from Favorites"

To schedule a lesson:

1. Click on the button "Book a lesson" in the search for teachers, in the teacher's profile or in the top menu "Lessons"
2. Select the subject, duration of the lesson, type of lesson (internally / remotely), date and time of the lesson
3. Book a lesson
4. Complete the reservation and wait for confirmation from the tutor
5. Agree the details of the lesson in a private conversation with a tutor and come to the lesson

To contact the tutor:

1. Go to the tutor's profile
2. Click on the "Write message" button in the right panel

If you have the first lesson, we will give you some tips:

• Prepare your wishes for the content of the lesson and send them to the tutor in advance so that the tutor has the opportunity to prepare the materials individually for you
• Check the internet connection if you are studying remotely
• Verify that you have installed and running a video conferencing program (for example, Skype). Note that running the program just before the session can be accompanied by an automatic installation of updates, which can last 5-10 minutes).
• Check that you have a webcam connected and a microphone is working. You can do this in the program settings.

After completing the lesson, go to the lesson details and confirm that the lesson was completed. If an online payment was made, then the teacher will be transferred money for this lesson from your account. After that, leave feedback on the work of the tutor.

A test lesson is a free test lesson designed to introduce students to a potential tutor. Typically, this occupation takes 30 minutes. Such an occupation allows students to decide on the choice of a mentor, and for tutors to show themselves in practice to a potential student.

You pay for the lesson personally to the teacher.

If you want to postpone or cancel a scheduled lesson - notify the tutor about it no later than 24 hours before the start. Try not to cancel the lesson later than this time, as the tutor completes his schedule in advance and can incur costs due to changed circumstances.

Questions of conducting classes, scheduling, payment of lessons, etc. Tutors are required to deal directly with students, because biscarra can not be a party to the conflict.
