Managing Your Account and Profile
In order to send someone a link to your student profile or tutor profile, simply copy the address from the URL string in the browser and send it to the person you are talking to. Please note that to view the profile of the student you will need to register on the site biscarra.

To change your name:
- Click on the image with your photo in the top menu
- Select "Edit profile"
- In the "Basic information" section, change your name
- Save the changes.
To add languages to your profile:
- Click on the image with your photo in the top menu
- Select "Edit profile"
- In the "Languages" section, specify the native and additional languages that you own
- Save the changes.
Deactivating (blocking) an account means suspending all the functions of your account. Users biscarra will not be able to view your profile or write you a private message. In turn, you also will not be able to access the site functions until you unlock your account on your own. To deactivate your account, follow these steps:
Note! If your account has the status of a tutor, all the functions of the account will be deactivated, including the functions of the tutor.
- Click on the image with your photo in the top menu
- Select "Account settings"
- In the "Basic settings -> Account status" section, set the switch to "off"
- Save the changes.

To change the time zone:
- Click on the image with your photo in the top menu
- Select "Edit profile"
- In the "Basic information" section, enter your time zone
- Save the changes.

To change your privacy settings:
- Click on the image with your photo in the top menu
- Select "Account settings"
- In the "Privacy" section, change the settings
- Save the changes.
The user added to the black list will not be able to:
- See your profile in search
- Send you a private message
- Go to the profile of the user you want to add to the black list
- Click the icon in the upper-right corner of your profile
- Select the "Add to Blacklist" drop-down menu
To remove a user from a blacklist:
- Go to the user profile you want to remove from the blacklist
- Click the icon in the upper-right corner of your profile
- Select the "Remove from black list" drop-down menu
- Click on the image with your photo in the top menu
- Select "Account settings" -> "Black list"
- Delete the user you want.
Settings and notifications
To manage the settings for subscriptions and notifications:
- Click on the image with your photo in the top menu
- Select "Account settings"
- In the "Notifications" section, change the required settings
- Save the changes.
To change your password:
- Click on the image with your photo in the top menu
- Select "Account settings"
- In the "General settings" -> "Password" section, click on "Change".
If you've forgotten your password and can not log in to your account, do the following:
Unfortunately, e-mail is the only way to recover a forgotten password. Try to remember where else you could indicate this address, look for it in these places.
- On the main page in the top menu, click on the "Login"
- Click on the link "Forgot your password?"
- Enter the email address you use to sign in to the system
- Go to your mail, open the email and click on the specified link
- Enter the new password and save the changes.
- Log in using the new password.
- Check the Spam folder
- Please try again in 10-20 minutes.
Unfortunately, e-mail is the only way to recover a forgotten password. Try to remember where else you could indicate this address, look for it in these places.
The e-mail address can not be technically changed. If you have lost access to your email, we strongly recommend that you create a new account by blocking the old one.
